Which Natural Ingredients Never Worked For Me?

I have a pair of deep set eyes and have chronic dark circles. My eye area could feel really dry and stretchy if I do not apply a moisturizer. Here are few things that I have tried but failed to work.

Coconut Oil : Coconut oil works like a charm for my hair, but it could never work to reduce the appearance of dark circle around my eyes. I have used it continuously for about 40-50 days, but to avail nothing.

Aloe Vera: I vouch for Aloe Vera for face pigmentation but it could not heal my dark circles.

Honey: I think honey is a great moisturizing agent, but it cannot work ij terms of brightening a pigmented area on it’s own. I use it in my DIY eye masks for it’s moisturizing properties.

Do’s For Healthy Under Eye Area

  • Like your face, your under eye area too needs moisture. Even if your face is oily, your under eye area needs proper hydration. Even if you do not apply moisturizer to your face, at least apply under your eyes.
  • Dab some moisturizer using your ring finger.
  • Make sure to put only high quality makeup on your eyes.
  • Use some masks specially for under eye area to pamper it.
  • Drink lots of water and eat fresh
  • Get good 7-8 hours of sleep.
  • Be gentle while applying makeup to your eyes.
  • Use a good quality makeup remover to remove eye makeup. You can also use an oil based eye makeup remover to remove waterproof eye makeup.
  • If you don’t have time for natural remedies, use a moisture rich eye cream.

Don’ts for Healthy Under Eye Area

  • Never scrub/rub harshly your under eye area or use harsh cleansers on your under eye area.
  • Do not load your under eye area with loads of chemicals.
