Mamaearth C3 Face Mask VS Neem Face Pack

Going further, let me lighten up the situation little bit. Mamaearth is one brand that has created trust in its customers in a very short span. Most of the products that I have ever used from this brand, have worked really well for me. Today, I am going to talk about and compare two face masks from this brand,  Mamaearth C3 Face mask and Mamaearth Neem Face Mask. Both the face masks are clay masks and highly effective in maintaining healthy and glowing skin. So which face mask is suitable for your skin? Let’s find out.

Mamaearth C3 Face Mask

Enriched with charcoal, coffee and clay, Mamaerath C3 Face Mask is one highly effective face mask that is suitable for all skin types. It claims to brightens and tightens skin, while reducing acne and pimples. The face mask is made with all natural ingredients without any parabenes or preservatives.

Fragrance & Texture

The mask comes packed in a white colored opaque tub with a lid. You can scoop out the product out of it.

It smells heavily of activated charcoal which is the base of the mask. Along with that I can pick hints of essential oils such as Peppermint Oil, Chamomile Oil, Eucalyptus oil etc.  The mask also contains coffee and clay hence giving it a rich texture. The mask is dark grey in color. It spreads easily on the skin given the workable consistency.

How To Use Mamaearth C3 Face Mask

• I clean my face and apply the mask evenly on my face.
• Leave it to get dry.
• After 10-15 minutes I wash it off when its still semi dry.
• I apply my moisturizer.

Mamaearth Neem Face Mask

Enriched with Neem and Tea Tree oil, Mamaearth recently introduced a face mask to treat acne and pimples. Neem and Tea Tree is considered to be a great for oily and acne prone skin hence this mask is suitable for Acne Prone skin. This is again a clay mask, containing Kaolin and Bentonite, Aloe Vera, Mulberry extracts, Peppermint Oil, Glycolic Acid etc.

Fragrance & Texture

Packed in a white colored opaque tub, Mamaearth Neem Face Mask, is a light green colored mask. It is a fine paste. It can be spread easily on skin. The mask has a light fragrance of Tea Tree oil and Neem oil.

How To Use

• I clean my face with a non drying face wash and apply this face mask evenly on my skin. Sometimes, I scrub my face with The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion before putting this mask (In the absence of acne).
• Next, I let it semi dry for 10-15 minutes.
• I remove it by massaging the pack with wet hands in circular motion.
• After which I apply a light moisturizer.

• It works on pimples but takes time.

What Could be better?

In terms of its performance, I think it could be improved. It takes time to heal an existing pimple. You need to re apply it for few days before you get an improvement. It must be applied regularly on acne prone skin to prevent acne.
