Winnie’s Candor Powdered Green Tea Cleanser : Review

Ain’t we all obsessed with green tea these days? Me too. I am quite blown away by green tea & green tea infused skin care. Recently I came across Winni’e Candor Powdered Green Tea Cleanser, which is an all natural, parabene free, chemical free and very effective face cleanser specially for oily & acne prone skin. This powdered cleanser reminds me of home based ubtans. I am really smitten by the ingredients of this cleanser. Even though it takes bit of efforts to use this cleanser, but I think the efforts are worth the results.

This cleanser from Winnie’s Candor is 100% natural & handmade. This is soap free/foam free cleanser. It contains oats, almonds, milk & green tea. The cleanser is suitable for all type of skins. It has bit of scrubbing particles but it still is very gentle on skin. Use this cleanser to get an instant glow to your skin. It is a natural acne demolisher, anti oxidants, anti bacterial & detoxifying agent.

Packaging

This powdered face wash comes in a plastic tub. The tub has a pale yellow label which contains all the information about the product. The label states the basic features, directions to use the cleanser, it’s ingredients, price & other manufacturing details. The packaging is could have been better since it’s very ordinary.

How To Use

Winnie’ Candor Green Tea Face Cleanser is a powdered cleanser which need to be diluted with water to make a paste.

• Take a spoon of the powder in the palm of your hand, add a spoon of water.
• You can also add honey or milk since it’s winter.
• Now apply the paste on your face and massage with your hands using circular motion.
• Wash away the cleanser with warm water and pat dry.
• Apply your favorite toner/moisturizer.

Fragrance & Texture

The powder has a mild and fresh fragrance of the natural ingredients that it contains. After diluting the powder with water the smell kind of blossoms and I can smell oats & green tea more out of the paste. I really like the natural fragrance that this product contains.

The powder is bit grainy and hence upon mixing with water it gives a bot of scrubbing effect since it contains almonds & oats. But the scrubbing effect is very mild and it does not irritate my acne or sensitive skin.

My Experience

A powdered cleanser takes bit of effort to be used. It must be mixed with a runny medium to get a workable paste. Natural cleansers are generally packed in powder form to give them nice shelf life without adding any preservative to them.

Winnie’s Candor Green Tea Powdered Cleanser is an all natural cleanser which really reminds me a homemade ubtan my mom used to make for me. It used to contain almonds, oats & gram flour. This powdered cleanser has almost the same ingredients and fragrance. It kind of make me nostalgic.

I have been using Winnie’s Candor Green Tea from more than a week now. I use it once daily, mostly before going to bed. The reason is obvious. It gives bit of scrubbing effect and takes away all the impurities off my skin. It leaves skin squeaky clean but without making skin dry. I like it gives a subtle glow.

Winnie’s Candor Green Tea Powdered Cleanser, is an all natural chemical free, parabene free, handmade all natural cleanser which works fabulously to give skin a subtle glow. It contains the goodness of green tea, oats, almonds & milk. The cleanser mildly exfoliates skin taking off the impurities of the skin. It sounds bit pricey at first but 150 gms last very long.
