I saw a tea tree scrub at a local shop in Gurgaon during my last visit to my parent’s place. I flipped the product many times to check what is the brand name, later realizing that Tea Tree was the name of the brand. It was very unconventional though. I googled it up and yes there were face wash, face packs by the same name, Tea Tree made in the UK. I bought this because it contained tea tree oil and it’s packaging really appealed to my eyes. It was not costly for a big tube of scrub. Tea Tree oil is very beneficial for the type of skin I have (oily + acne prone). Hence I hoped it would suit my skin.

The brand claims that this is a daily use cleansing scrub for face. which is suitable for all skin types. It is formulated to gently cleanse and stimulate your skin by helping to remove excess oil and dead skin cells to reveal a healthier, fresher looking complexion. This is mild enough to use daily. The scrub was developed and manufactured in the UK.

It comes in a light green big tube with dark green colored flip top. The color of the tube is very attractive and refreshing to eyes. This was once of the reasons I bought this unknown product.
How To Use
Moisten the face with water and take out some product on your fingertips. Gently massage the face with the scrub avoiding the eye area. Rinse well with little warm water. Can be used daily.
Colour, Texture & Smell
It is a creamy scrub. The consistency is little runny still dense. It contains as fine granuals as you find in a skin polish. The grannuals are really mild and feels gentle on my face. The colour of the scrub is light green while the grannuals are so small that they are not visible in the creamy consistency. It has mild and refreshing smell.
My Experience With Tea Tree Facial Scrub
It is really mild and still gives effective cleansing. The grannuals are small and the consistency is so creamy that the scrubbing effect does not feel harsh. The scrub actually feels like a mild face polish due to the type of the grannuals it has. Initially I was afraid that the creamy consistency might break me out but nothing of that sort happened. Even though the consistency is creamy and dense, it never feels heavy on my face neither does it ever leave behind any oiliness or greasy feeling.
Coming to the after effects of this scrub, it effectively takes away dead skin, roughness, oil & dirt off the face while leaving a squeaky clean face behind. My face looks cleaner & brighter after use and feels smooth.
These days am not really active on scrubbing due to cold weather, but when I am consistent I use it once in 2-3 days. Since it’s a big tube, it will last me for another 2-3 months which makes it economical. I am not sure if I will buy it again because I might get bored of using this but I will try facial wash and another products from this brand.

- Too gentle for a conventional scrub.

It is a mild face scrub/polish but works as effectively as a conventional scrub. It is affordable and effective while working equally for all skin types. It is not a must have but a decent buy.
