SUGAR is one brand which never fails to impress. I love the fact that the brand takes it’s time to launch it’s products thoughtfully. I prefer to use felt tip sketch pen liner in place of liquid of pencils, because of the precision and control they provide over application. SUGAR Arrested For Overstay waterproof Eyeliner in I’ll Be Black is my current go to sketch pen liner. This black liner gives intense pigmentation and semi matte finish which kind of adds bit shine to my eyes. I love it for it’s convenient packaging and ease of use. It comes in a sleek card box which has some abstract packaging. I really like the cool packaging of SUGAR products, it’s really chic. The pen is all matte black. SUGAR’logo and eyeliner title with shade has been printed over the pen. The pen is very convienent to carry and use no doubt. You don’t even need to sharpen it but yes, make sure to shake it bit before using it so that the fluid flows fluently (wow, it rhymes so well).

Shade – I’ll Be Black (Black)

This liner comes only in one shade– Black. It’s pretty black and not grayish-black. It is almost jet black. Black is the most worn shade when it comes to eyeliner. It is a versatile shade, works for every day as well as dramatic looks. But I hope that SUGAR comes with more shades of the product.

Fragrance & Texture

It practically has no smell, or at least I cannot smell anything while I apply it. Texture wise, it is pretty smooth on my eyes. It glides effortlessly leaving behind nice color. The tip is pretty pointed so I can easily control the thickness of the line. To get more bolder look, slant the tip a bit and viola, you get really nice thick line.

Pigmentation

The pigmentation is pretty nice. The shade is black hence it looks quite nice in just one swipe. Multiple swipes can bring a really intensified look. I feel one swipe is nice to define the eyes while 2-3 strokes bring out a bold and dramatic look. I wear this liner just to tight line my lashes or to go full throttle. It works both way.

Finish – SUGAR Waterproof Black Eyeliner

The finish of SUGAR Arrested For Overstay eyeliner is semi matte. It kind of remains shiny. I mostly like matte finish be it my foundation, lipstick or liner. But I still like to wear this liner because of the performance & the ease of use it offers. When you are in hurry, you any way prefer easy to to use products.

Longevity

It stays for long over eyes. To some level it is water proof. Confused? I have tested it under running water. It does not wears off or smudge on it’s own. But if rubbed it does smudge. So I think if you are not touching it while it’s wet, it won’t go anywhere.
