Sara Cosmetics De Tan Scrub : Review

Hello beauties. Do you ever checkout what products are being used, when you visit a salon? I have this weird habit of asking the salon professionals about what are they going to put on my skin/hair/body. Some get really offended.

I got a De-Tan facial last year, at the local Galaxy Salon, Dwarka sector 7. I quite liked the result of the facial. It even suited my acne prone skin. I knew what was used. The products were from Sara Cosmetics, the professional range. I specifically liked the scrub used during my facial. So I ordered it straight away.

Sara Cosmetic Professional range is used in salons. This scrub is known as Sara Cosmetics De Tan Scrub Specific Treatment. It has got Clove & Camphor oil, which are suitable for acne prone skin.

Price:

It is priced at Rs. 1320 for 400 gm. I got it around 1100 bucks from amazon.in

Ingredients:

Aqua, Titanium Oxide, Glycerine, Clove oil, Camphor oil, Scrub & Preservatives.

How To Use:

Nothing mentioned on the packaging. I follow the routine, the salon professional followed. I evenly spread the mask on face and wait for 5 minutes. Then I scrub gently, since its a heavy duty scrub(my type of scrub). Then again leave it for few minutes. Wipe it away with wet cotton or wash it off.

Packaging:

Comes in a Tub.

Texture, Color & Smell:

This is a white colored, creamy scrub having strong camphor smell. It gives cooling sensation to skin upon application.

Availability:

It is available online as well as offline.

My Experience:

As I mentioned earlier, it is a heavy duty scrub. It really makes some difference. The scrubbing granuals might feel harsh if I am not gentle. I use it once in 10-15 days. It is not something, that I can use as a regular scrub. For my regular scrub, I use TBC Coffee Scrub, Vedic Line Chocolate Scrub or a plain apricot scrub. Since I am using AHA Glow Face wash these days, I hardly use a regular scrub.

So coming to the effects, it really takes away the dead skin layer from your face. My face looks & feel clear and smothened. When I am up to some DIY facials, I generally use it to make the DIY facial more effective.

Since it has got Clove & Camphor oil, it is good for my acne prone skin despite of being creamy.

As mentioned earlier, the consistency is creamy hence the scrub is easy to take out of the tub and apply on face. Once, by mistake, I left the tub lid little loose, and the scrub is little dried out. But as I add few drops of water in it, it becomes creamy and applicable again.

I don’t have any complains, as it is one of the heavy duty scrubs I have used. Will repurchase it again, if I didn’t get bored of it.

Final Words:

As for me tub packaging & high price are not much of cons since it’s a professional range product. Great scrub, if you like scrubbing that much.
