Pond’s products make me go back in memories. My first ever cream, the first ever face wash was from Pond’s. The brand still keeps on impressing me, specially with it’s face wash range. I recently tried Ponds Pure White Anti Pollution Activated Charcoal Face Wash and I feel it’s a winner for sure. Pollution is a major problem specially in metro cities. Pollution take a toll on health, skin & hair. I have noticed as I step out of my house, I find a layer keep on depositing on my skin which is a mix of dust, smog & other things that can be extremely problematic for my acne prone skin. Scrubbing your skin every day is not healthy but ordinary face wash is not enough to take off that unwanted layer of dirt & pollution off your skin.

Ponds Pure White Anti Pollution Activated Charcoal Face Wash comes in a white tube with black shading at the front to resemble activated charcoal. Pond’s logo is also printed in black fonts ta the front. At the back of the tube ingredients & product features are mentioned along with price & other manufacturing information.  With a flip top fitted at the opening of the face wash it is easy to carry around too.

Fragrance & Texture

It is dark gray colored bit runny face wash. A pea size is all I need for one time wash. It lathers well when mixed with water. It has a mild fresh fragrance.

My Experience

As I mentioned in the starting, pollution is a big challenge and skin gets easily affected by it. It is important to use something as effective as activated charcoal. I have a charcoal activated face powder lying with me but it’s not feasible to use it every day.

Ponds Pure White Activated Charcoal face wash comes really handy. Few minutes out on Delhi streets & a new layer covers you. Specially after Diwali, when the pollution level has become multi-folds, it’s hard to breath. Skin definitely suffers. I have quite problematic skin. Getting rid of pollutants & dirt is important as soon as I get back home.

This face wash which has a nice smell to it, lathers well and gives a nice cleansing to my skin within a matter of few seconds. It leaves skin complete matte & there is no slippery feeling that you usually get out of gel based face wash. Post washing, skin feels & looks really clean. But yes, I need to moisturize my skin after using this face wash because it kind of leave skin taut like the other variants from Pond’s.

It leaves skin squeaky clean & matte. The face wash is bit drying but affordable & effective. I think this face wash is a nice staple if you travel on daily basis to keep your skin free of pollutants.
