O3+ Agelock Vitamin C Booster Serum : Review

Hello Ladies, all set with your morning cup of coffee? I am a teaholic by the way. My morning just can’t take off until I have a nice cup of tea. That is the most relaxing part of my day.

Coming back to our beeswax, recently I recovered from a very bad breakout due to La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (another Love-hate story), I was looking for something to help me with the post acne scars. I recently finished off Za Perfect Solution Youth Whitening Serum. My perfect serum is which addresses my dark spots + ageing skin without breaking me out. This sounds pretty simple, and most of the cosmetics companies sell their products claiming the same. I have, too, came across so many products, in past, that seemed like my going-to-be-HG products. But soon I found them in my never-ever-use-again trash bin , like L’oreal Paris Youth Code Youth Booster Serum & Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Anti-Ageing Day Cream to name the biggest duds.

From my experience, I knew, Za can’t help me (with dark spots). I was intentionally looking for a Vitamin C serum, because of its ability to erase dark spots faster and provide anti-aging benefits to the skin. Somehow, I stumbled upon O3+ Agelock Vitamin C booster Serum via an online shopping website. I went through a few reviews online as I always do. It showed some potential and I bought it.

My Skin type:

Oily, Acne Prone & Sensitive

My experience with O3+ Agelock Vitamin C Serum:

It has been about 20 days since I started using it. I use it during night because anti ageing products are supposed to be used during night only. The main ingredient is Vitamin C which can make your skin photosensitive. You must use a sun block during the day especially if you are using any anti-ageing product. Coming back to the product, it comes with a dropper so that you don’t have to dip your fingers into the product to take out the product. Initially, I applied the whole dropper, and within 2 days I got rashes at several places on my face. I was using too much. I took a break for like 2 days, and then started applying the serum only half the dropper on face and then rest on my neck. Continuing the same routine, it’s giving me results. Talking about the results, my recent acne scars has faded to about 50% within 15 days, which nothing has ever achieved for me ever. My skin has got little brightening effect too. And all this without getting any breakouts. Touch wood.

Vitamin C is highly volatile in nature and whenever it comes in direct contact with air/sunlight, its effectiveness is ruined. This serum contains passive ascorbic acid, which gets activated only once it’s rubbed into the skin. Hence all the potency is directly delivered to your skin. I quite liked this innovative idea.

Likes:

  • Highly effective in reducing acne scars.
  • Visible result within 2 weeks.
  • Gets absorbed quickly without leaving any stickiness.
  • No breakouts attributed by the serum.Little quantity required, hence lasts longer than other serums of same quantity.
  • Delivers anti-ageing benefits.
  • Suitable for all skin types.
  • Hygienic Packaging.

Dislikes:

  • Price is little on higher side.
  • Need to use sun protection since vitamin c can make your skin photosensitive.
  • Need to be careful with the glass bottle.

Word Of Caution:

Start using small quantity of the product, otherwise, your skin may get rashes.

Rating: 5/5 ( don’t care about the price when it delivers, what it claims to).

Final Words:

Oily skinned (+ acne prone) beauties, grab your bottle now. This serum works to lighten dark spots and pigmentation. Gives supple and soft skin.

    Hi Nisha,
Thank You so much for an amazing post!!
Could you please help me understanding the quantity to be used?
I am taking two drops only for application for the fear of getting rashes.
It has been four day I have applied, but I don’t see any difference on my face when I wake up in the morning. Am I applying less quantity? My skin type is acne- prone, sensitive and I have acne blemishes on my face. Please help.

Hello dear, glad you reached me about this. Let me tell you, it is a potent serum, and I really got rashes initially, hence you are doing good by using small amounts.
About the effect, please allow at least 2 weeks, it needs some time to show it’s effect.
Let your skin get used to it, increase the quantity lil bit more. 2 drops are like really tiny. I used to use at least half of the pump covering my face & neck in one go.

I am sure, you will be happy with the results. I tried it on my acne prone-oily-sensitive skin 🙂 I have used atleast 3 bottles of this serum after which it stopped working on me.

Please stick to it and finish at least that bottle in your hand, it’s costly after all!!!
You can reach me any time on my email also- highongloss@gmail.com to clarify your doubts!!!
