Khushboo Motihar – MunniOfAllTrades : #bloggerinterviewseries

Hi,

It’s been a while that I published a blogger’s interview on HOG. Actually I wanted Khushboo Motihar from MunniOfAllTrades to appear here. She is a fabulous all rounder blogger. She writes about everything that surrounds us. Wow, how she does that? She is so talented she touches every single field be it books, food, travel, beauty, fashion & what not. I so badly wanted her to feature on HOG. I am glad that she took out some time for HOG & showered us with lovely answers. Enjoy:

What made you start blogging?

I started blogging because I needed a creative outlet to express myself. Being an introvert, I would feel shy talking in front of strangers but on the internet I could be my fun and quirky self through my blog.

How do you balance work/study & blogging?

I work full time and trust me it is very difficult to juggle the two. Sometimes, I have blog posts that are not published for months because I did not have time to proof read them. That being said, it is important to schedule some time for your blog every single day. I know it sounds a lot but I try to spare an hour and dedicate it to improving my blog.

What/who is your inspiration?

I don’t have one single person who I can say truly inspires me. Rather I am inspired by the many different people who have touched my life. My Nanaji, who never fails to share and comment on my blog posts, my mother who ensures that my sentences are well structured and my friends who encourage me all the time.

How do you manage to be the “Munni Of All Trades”? How straining is it to be an all rounder blogger?

The idea of starting a blog popped into my head somewhere in 2011 but I just wouldn’t start one because I wanted to find the perfect name. I spent 2 years looking for one and then one day when I was travelling in a Mumbai local the name struck me and I loved it. I started off with reviewing books and writing short stories and slowly over a period of 4 years expanded to other niches. It takes a lot of investment in terms of time to run a blog that covers so many different niches but it is absolutely worth it. You get to pick up new things along the way and learn so much from different people.

What is your advice to High On Gloss?

Your blog is beautifully designed and so well structured. Content is extremely important for any blog and I think High on Gloss nails that perfectly! Keep up the amazing work that you are doing and continue writing in your signature style. 🙂
