Get a Brighter Skin Tone by Natural Ways

Hey Angels, Hope all of you are doing well. Thanks for all love for my previous articles this constantly encourage me to write more. So here I am with the next one.

We all crave for a fair/bright tone, Right? God bless us with soft, supple & glowing skin. As we age due to the environmental pollution, hormonal changes and unhealthy eating & lifestyle habits we all lose the beautiful complexion. If you want that skin tone back nature can help us as it have magic in itself. So, here are some DIY face packs with easy to find ingredients which will help you to get fairer.

1. Castor Oil & Honey Pack

Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid having antibacterial properties. Every day use of it makes skin fairer and younger also. For this mask take 1 tablespoon castor oil, 1 tablespoon honey and 3-4 spoon cream, now mix them well. Clean your face and apply it properly. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash the face with lukewarm water. Now apply any moisturizer.

2. Orange & Sandalwood Pack

Oranges are rich in vitamin c and have natural bleaching properties. Sandalwood is in use from ancient times to exfoliate and tone skin. In order to make this pack take 1-1 tablespoon orange peel powder and sandalwood powder. Take a bowl and mix these two with little water. Now apply it on clean face and leave for 10-15 min. Now wash with water.

3. Tomato and Oatmeal Pack

Tomatoes have lycopene which is food for skin while oatmeal exfoliates it. To make this pack mix 3-4 tablespoon tomato juice into same amount of oatmeal. Apply it on clean face and leave for 20 minutes before wash. You can also add 3-4 drops of lemon juice in it.

4. Mulberry Pack

Mulberry is used in many skin products. It has many skin benefits. Take 20-25 mulberry fruits and wash them properly to remove dirt particles. Now mesh them in a bowl with a spoon. Apply this paste on face and neck areas. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash with fresh water. This pack is very refreshing also.

5. Aloe Vera Gel Pack

Aloe Vera is a boon to us from nature as it has countless benefits. Take an alovera leaf and cut it to take out gel or you can use gel from market but take care as many of them contain chemical to preserve. Apply it on face and neck area or wherever you feel the skin tone is dark, leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash it. You can also apply it overnight for better results.

6. Rice Powder Pack

We all use rice for eating purposes but it can also be used to whiten skin. For this pack take raw rice and grind then into fine powder. Add water or milk to make paste. Apply this on darker parts. Leave for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with water.

7. Gram Flour Pack

Gram flour better known as besan is also beneficial to tone and clean skin. Take 3-4 tablespoon of besan and add some turmeric powder to it. Now mix it in water or milk to make a paste. Also you can add few drops of olive oil/ coconut oil. Apply it on skin and wash after 20 minutes.


For better results repeat these packs twice in a week and use only one at a time. Also take care if you are allergic to any of the used products. Before applying the whole first try on little area on leg or hand.

Along with using these ingredients you should take a nutritious diet which is full of vitamin C, this act as an antioxidant and it helps our body to produces collagen ‘the beauty protein’. Drink enough water to hydrate your skin and try to decrease direct contact from sunlight. These little but important things will help your skin to get toned.
