5 NELF The Miami Stick Matte Lipsticks – Swatches & Review

NELF The Miami Stick Matte Lipsticks are the newest addition to my lipstick stash along with NELF Powder Matte Lipsticks (NELF TMS Lipsticks). Today I am going to share my views on TMS range from NELF. While being highly affordable lipsticks are lead-free too. Trust me this is one of the biggest reasons I love NELF. Why Lead-Free Lipstick should be your priority?

Lipsticks contain dangerous levels of cancer-causing lead. If you have a tendency to apply lipstick every day 2 to 3 times, you are ingesting a lot of lead. Lead is a metal that is not good for human exposure. So if you are slathering lipstick many times a day, there are higher chances that you are risking your health.

How To Test Your Lipstick If It Contains Lead?

Apply your lipstick around your wrist & rub a gold ring (24k – 14K) on the lipstick. If the shade changes to black, you must be alarmed since it contains lead.

NELF The Miami Stick Matte Lipstick MS101 Day Dreaming

This is one of my favorite shade from NELF TMS range. It is a very pretty warm pink shade that is very apt for everyday wear. It will suit every skin tone since it is a warm shade.

NELF The Miami Stick Matte Lipstick MS110 Hunter Orange

Without a red bold shade in your lipstick stash. your collection is incomplete. Hunter Orange is basically a bold & bright red. Be a drama queen every night wearing this bold shade. It also brightens up the face beautifully.

NELF The Miami Stick Matte Lipstick MS111

This is a pink peach shade which is another beautiful shade to flaunt on casual outings. It is very wearable during office hours too. The shade is wearable for light to wheatish skin tones.

NELF The Miami Stick Matte Lipstick MS113

This shade is very tricky among all. It is a kind of frosty, Pure Peach, and suitable for light skin tones. Wheatish skin tones must use it sparingly. Dusky tones would definitely get washed out. It reminds me of Maybelline Peach Personality. The texture & the finish is almost the same, just a bit cheaper & lead-free.

NELF The Miami Stick Matte Lipstick MS115 Shy

A chocolate shade is inevitable. Shy is actually kind of nude shade that looks beautiful on lips. It’s a pure brown shade. It resembles SUGAR Matte As Hell Viola The matte finish adds extra oomph factor. This shade is highly recommended for bold eyes.

Fragrance & Texture

The lipsticks have a faint sweet smell. The fragrance is so light that it is unnoticeable. The texture of the lipsticks is workable. The lipsticks are not extra creamy or buttery soft but still swipe easily on lips.

Pigmentation & Finish

Pigmentation wise the lipsticks are nice. The color intensity is good looking upon the price. To get an opaque & even finish 2 coats are recommended.

The matte finish of NELF TMS range is impressive. The finish gives a bold & clean look.  Out of the 5 shades I described above, MS113 is a bit frosty and looks semi-matte on lips.

Longevity

Until you check the price, you can’t believe that the lipsticks are under 200 bucks. These lipsticks give a nice performance of 3-4 hours in one go. They do transfer to objects while you feast. Some lipsticks leave a very nice tint behind.
